This is a cropped cable cardigan worked bottom-up. To minimize seaming, the body is cast on in one piece from the front to the back, then split to work the front and back separately. The shoulders are joined, and only the sleeves are seamed. The clean shoulder lines and neat construction make for a high-quality finish that’s unique to bottom-up garments. You can adjust the length by adding more cable repeats—please purchase extra yarn if you plan to make a longer cardigan.
